Future Military Officers Scholarship Fund

The Charleston Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) established the Future Military Officers Scholarship Fund through hundreds of gifts from members of the Charleston Chapter of the MOAA in 1997. 

The Future Military Officers Scholarship Fund provides a one-time $1,500 scholarship to a junior or senior in the upcoming Fall semester at The Citadel or Charleston Southern University who is from the 294(xx)-zip code and is enrolled in an ROTC Program and has a signed contract to enter military service as a military officer after college.

Applications open annually in mid-January with a deadline in mid-March.  More information and application materials can be accessed at Coastal Community Foundation (https://coastalcommunityfoundation.org/).  Students wishing to be considered for the Future Military Officer Scholarship must complete Coastal Community Foundation's General Scholarship Program application.
